Verizon iPhone 4G - How to Get Free

The Verizon iPhone release date has been highly debated over the last couple months. Consumers have grown tired of being limited to just one provider as anticipation grows for Apple to expand network options to include Verizon. The rumors have been flying about the potential availability and styles that may come to the market.

Well it seems that the wait may finally be over as recent reports have cited several people close to the source that "an early 2011 Verizon iPhone release date has been set." Now, whether these rumors have any truth to them remains to be seen but it is guaranteed that the iPhone will be making an appearance on another provider soon after AT&T's 5 year exclusivity deal expires in 2010.

What this means is that the new Verizon iPhone 4G is already being built right now. There are already prototype units in the hands of product testers across the country and many more to be shipped out as the launch date gets closer.

Your best chance of becoming a tester is if you have a direct association with an Apple or Verizon high ranking employee. Many times they will have inside information about pre-releases and product demos...maybe even the top-secret Verizon iPhone release date! Unfortunately most of us do not know Steve Jobs or any of his cohorts so we are left to explore other options.

Luckily for us there are many marketing and adverting companies that have access to these early demo units and test models. You will need to find the promotional offers that are currently accepting new product testers. These types of free offers fill up fast, so be sure to enter your info whenever you find a place with open signups. Most legit offers only ask for your basic information like your email address and then ask you to complete a simple survey.

Thoughts on Verizon Wireless Getting a Verizon iPhone

So I have decided to start looking for a new smartphone. I have had a really hard time on choosing which smartphone to go with. I have narrowed it down to either an Verizon Wireless android smartphone or a Verizon iPhone that is if Verizon gets the iPhone. So the things that I am looking for in my new phone are reliability and functionality. So with that being said lets breakdown the iPhone and the Android.

Verizon iPhone

The iPhone really made a new market for itself when it first came out. It has been a very popular phone to have and has enjoyed lots of media attention because of all of the tv shows that you see it in. In its latest version it featured an impressive front and rear facing web cam, a super high definition screen, and so many more amazing features. Okay but since this can't be a post all about the good things on the iPhone now the negatives thats easy its not on Verizon Wireless YET! One can hope that Apple will realize the benefits of moving away from AT&T being the exclusive carrier of the iPhone in the United States. So its really going to come down to whether or not Verizon Wireless is able to acquire the iPhone if this is a feasible choice because I refuse to go to AT&T whose customer service in my opinion can't hold a candle to Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Android Phones
Its really hard to sum up every Verizon Wireless Android phone. So lets make it easy the only ones as of right now that I am even interested in getting are the Verizon Incredible and the Droid X. The Droid Pro is a nice phone but I am not looking for a blackberry wannabe Verizon cellular phone. The Droid 2 and its slide out keyboard is nice but I am not a big fan of the slide out keyboard. I guess what I am really looking for is the Candy Bar touch screen only smartphone. So the thing that is really appealing about the Android phones is that most of their apps are free. Also their part of this company most people have never heard of Google. I am a huge fan of Google and all that it has done and with the most recent update of the Android operating system it's no surprise that Android 2.3 Gingerbread is even more powerful and has some amazing features on it.

I guess it's really going to come down to seeing what phones Verizon Wireless reveals at CES 2011. That is when most people think they will announce the Verizon iPhone. I personally would like to see both the Verizon iPhone and some new amazing Verizon Android smartphones unveiled.

Analysts Say 4G Verizon iPhone Is Unlikely

Verizon Wireless customers holding their breath for a 4G iPhone may want to exhale, as analysts dismissed a recent report that claimed the company would begin selling an LTE-capable device following the holidays.

Alterations to the current iPhone would be too difficult to pull off in such a short amount of time, analysts said. To meet LTE capabilities, Apple would have to include a separate LTE chip and antenna inside the device in addition to a chip and antenna for the 3G CDMA/EV-DO network that Verizon currently supports.

"I don't believe it. LTE is hard to do because the chipsets aren't available in bulk and the cost is quite high. I would be shocked if it's true," Jack Gold, an analyst at J. Gold Associates, speaking about the initial report from MacDailyNews, told Computerworld.

Other analysts point to differences between Apple and Verizon that have surfaced and the fact that Apple traditionally launches new iPhone models in June. Rob Enderle of the Enderle Group said it wouldn't be like Apple CEO Steve Jobs to break with tradition.

Enderle said Jobs' preference to "control the overall customer experience," leads him to believe the information isn't true.

On December 13, MacDailyNews reported that information from an anonymous source suggested a 4G iPhone announcement from Verizon would come "after Christmas." The source also claimed 4G iPhones were already in the hands of Verizon management.

The report made several other claims, such as 4G iPhones were already shipping in bulk to Verizon warehouses and that an LTE-only iPhone 5 was planned to launch this summer.

Though it deemed the source credible, MacDailyNews freely admitted to being unable to corroborate the the claims. The news provider advised readers to treat the information as rumor until it is confirmed by Apple, Verizon or both.

Rumors of a Verizon iPhone have been the talk of the wireless industry for some time. The story picked up steam this fall during the Cellular Telephone Industries Association conference in San Francisco. The Wall Street Journal broke news that a Verizon iPhone was coming some time in 2011.

Similarly, Verizon recently began supporting Apple's iPad, which only added to rumors.

The Journal reported that Verizon and Apple officials met to discuss a CDMA-capable iPhone and that Verizon was taking steps to test its network to prepare for iPhone users' heavy data load.
